3Some words to ponder on:  Sunday's Collect....
"Grant us, Lord, not to be anxious about earthly things, but to love things 
heavenly; and even now, while we are placed among things that are passing
away, to hold fast to those that shall endure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who
lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.  Amen"
We find these words more striking than ever at this time in our lives with all that
is going on in our world. 

No new news regarding R G Guthrie.  Jim Curran will be coming home from rehab
on the 28th.  Please keep them and their families in your prayers.  We were glad 
to hear that Fr. Michael's surgery went well.  He is up to walking a mile each morning.
