Today's E-Star will begin with some announcements from the Sunday Bulletin:
+New arrangement for our choir "Choir in the Pews.” The choir members are dispersed
throughout the congregation and help to support congregational singing. When it is
time to receive Holy Communion, please allow choir members to go to the front of the
line; that way all of them will be back in the pews in time for the communion hymn.
Thank you.
+Tickets are on sale for the beautiful queen-size quilt that Eille Burks made. The tickets
are $1.00 each and are available from members of St. Anne's or in the office. The quilt will be raffled off on December 16. Proceeds will go to local charities,
+Bible study group meets each Sunday morning at 9:15 in the parish hall. We are now
reading Frederick Buechner's Telling the Truth; The Gospel as Comedy, Tragedy &
Fairy Tale. All are welcome. You do not need a book to participate. We hope you will join us.
Flood Relief for Sonora Texas--The town of Sonora was devastated by flood this past weekend.
Donations of money are being received at all BCISD campuses to be given to their school at this Friday's Bulldog/Sonora football game.
Once Again we can never say "Thank You" enough to you beautiful guys and gals keeping
our grounds so manicured. Thank you again.
Neat seeing Michael bless June Hutson's Rescue Dog--hope that ALL works out well for both.
We have received a "Flyer" from Older Adult Rural Services regarding "Elves for the Elderly".

If we had had the words I believe the place would have erupted with the song. Michael said, "The song made quite an impression on him. Jesus says, along with James, that talk is cheap. What matters is putting ourselves in the place of the most vulnerable and outcast. More than that, he tells us that our calling as followers is to welcome those who are marginalized, to serve those who are at the bottom of the pecking order in society."
