WOW--IT IS GREAT TO HAVE MICHAEL BACK FROM VACATION--Ben and Joyce did a Great Job as Supply Priests, but Michael, YOU ARE SPECIAL, and you were MISSED----You Have us SPOILED(AN OLE' WORD).
This coming Sunday, the 12th, will be COVERED DISH Sunday, there will be NO 8:00 Service. All come to the 10:30 Service and afterward enjoy food, fellowship, and the Epiphany family. Those in the Inquirer's Class should fix a plate of food, greet everyone, and come to the Library for the class.
If you would like to take part in the Inquirer's Class please see above and read pages 845 through 855 in the Book of Common Prayer. If you can't get to the reading, please come to the class. It begins as soon as everyone gathers in the Library after getting a plate of food. These classes will continue 10-12 and 10-19 after the 10:30 Service.
Bishop Andy Doyle will be with us October 26 in the evening. There will be no morning services on that day.
This Thursday, 10-09, will be the regular Vestry Meeting at 6:30.
There will be NO Thursday Evening Choir Practice this week.
Because of all the activities on October 26, Daughters of the King will meet October 19 after the 10:30 service.
One last reminder that the 113th Annual Retreat for women of the Diocese of Texas will be Oct. 17-19 at Camp Allen.
The Alzheimer's Gathering at the Methodist Church is this coming Tuesday. 10-14--It is Epiphany's Turn---Those who agreed to prepare the lunch are--Main Dish--Sandy Arrington--Salad & Bread--Bobbie Clear--Dessert--Ellie Burks THANK YOU LADIES FOR THIS OUTREACH OF EPIPHANY.
Those scheduled to serve this Sunday are 8:00-Diane Hayes; 10:30-Karen and David Leitch. Ushers at the 10:30 service will be Steve and Mary Stevens. Thanks.
