We have many thank yous to begin this E-Star.
First, thank you to Fr. Ben Long for serving as our supply priest these last two Sundays. It is always a pleasure to have you.
Second, we failed to mention in last week's E-Star that it was Bert and Phyllis who had bought the cake at the Suzanne Johnson Endowment Fundraiser and shared it with us. Thank you Bert and Phyllis.
Third, a great big thank you to Deborah Kelley for volunteering to keep the church office open tomorrow until 1:00.
Last but not least, a big thank you to David Leitch for mowing the back lot.
St. Anne's Guild will have a brief meeting after the pot luck luncheon this Sunday, October 9. Please try to attending. There are important issues that need to be discussed. The meeting should last around fifteen minutes. The meeting scheduled for October 21 has been cancelled. The next meeting will be Friday, November 4 at 9:30 a.m. in the Parrish Hall. The annual St. Anne's Christmas party is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, then effective January, 2017 the regular meeting will be the first Friday of each month.
A Word about the Fall Festival at the Christian Church-Epiphany is doing the cake walk headed by Allica White. If you can bake cookies or cupcakes (say 6 on a plate) or a small cake, please let her know. This is a lot of fun especially for those of us who don't have little ones anymore.
Remember the Sausage Fest Monday, October 10 at the Lutheran Church. The cost is $10.00 for great food and a chance to visit with friends.
The Burnet Presbyterian Church has invited us to attend a presentation by Ruth Brown, a Presbyterian Church
USA Mission co-worker serving in the Democratic Republic of Congo. More information is on a poster on the bulletin board across from the rest rooms.
You will notice that as announced in church for several weeks that the Prayer List has been "purged". Please feel free to help up date it, which means to add and take off names as needed.
A reminder that our choir rehearses every Wednesday at 5:45 and on Sundayat 9:45. We would love to have you join us.

Drake for doing and taking care of everything while Michael was on vacation.
It is one thing when the Priest is out of town but with him out of the country it added
additional responsibilities for Elizabeth. No quick answers from Michael by " texting".
Suffice is to say, a job well done and we at Epiphany thank you.
And Dianne Ragland, thank you for ALL you did while Michael was away.
Carpe Every Diem,
Rufus and Sandy
