Now that the needs of our congregation are being seen to, many of us are thinking of folks who are
not as fortunate but we are not sure of what to do. Elizabeth Drake sent these links which were part of an email sent by Superintendent of Burnet CISD, Keith McBurnett.

Thank you so much for ALL of you WONDERFUL PEOPLE that have done and are doing so much
to help others during this time.
Jim Curran is recovering from knee surgery. Please keep he and Maureen in your prayers.
Many of you have had returned cards you sent to Phyllis McNelly. The apartment number is 506,
not 509. Sorry about that.
St. Anne's Guild meets today at 10:00 in the Parish Hall. All ladies of the church are invited to attend.

This Sunday will be our Fall Festival for the children of the church. It will be at the Coffee Hour after
church. Come and enjoy the festivities.
A request from Community Kitchen-if you have more of the larger shopping bags, not the totes,
(from Kohl's,Walmart, for example), than you can use, we surely would like to have them. There
are a few large families who take their meals with them, and the smaller bags just don't work.
Thanks a bunch.

Two things seemed to stand out in Michael's sermon last Sunday. One was Jesus knew that James
and John were doing the best they could, the best they knew how to do. The other is almost at the
end. He said, "We do well to remember that our calling is the same--to serve those who are in
need. And to remember that we, too, are those needy people even as we seek to serve them."
Thanks Michael.
Have a blessed week,
Carpe Every Diem.
