Howdy All, It's that time when time flies exceptionally fast.......2019 is almost gone-busy, busy...
Next Sunday, the 10th, is the Thanksgiving Dinner after Church. Ellie Burks needs your help setting up and putting out the food. She is the Hostess--please contact her if you can help. Margaret Thomas has the signup sheets for what you said you would bring.
Many THANKS to ALL that participated in the Food Drive yesterday for L A Care and the Helping Center in Marble Falls.
*****St. Anne's Bake Sale is coming up November 23rd on the Square, in conjunction with the Farmer's Market. If you can help in any way, please contact Margaret Thomas at 620-891-1461.Set up time will be at 7:30 but the Market is scheduled 9-1. They will provide all kinds of baked goods .Margaret is encouraging pies since Thanksgiving is the Thursday afterwards. She is also hoping for some gluten free items. Don't be bashful.
Sunday was a beautiful celebration of the Baptism of Mae Syn Gay and Gabe Castillo. There were many members of the family as well as friends and of course the Epiphany Family in attendance. It was followed by a wonderful reception put together by Carol Weathers and Elizabeth and Bill Drake. Jill and Thomas Castillo, the parents, are very grateful new members at Epiphany; it is great to have them among us. The Family is most grateful to all who made it such an unforgettable happening.
The Community Kitchen and Respite Lunch ministries are very grateful for the gift of the new freezer by St. Anne's Guild. It will be placed in the Youth Center and can also be used by the church.
**"Epiphany Family,
Thank you all so much for the prayers and love while I have been sick and had surgery. Things are progressing - although it seems slowly. I hope to see you all soon!
On another note, just wanted to keep you posted on the roof repairs. All repairs are complete and payment has been made by the insurance company (plus our deductible).
Thanks again!"
