An Epiphany Family Gathering is planned as a Thank-you celebration for Thursday, December 13th from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Save the World Brewery in Marble Falls. They have both beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. Please purchase your own beverages, as we are allowed to bring food in, several of us will be bringing party snack trays. We hope that everyone can make it. Diane Hays, Sherry Musgrove, Carol Weathers, and Georgie Nolan.
Fr. Michael will not be in the office on Thursday, November 29. We hope he is enjoying his short vacation.
Next Sunday, December 2nd is the First Sunday of Advent. Special prayers will be said for Phyllis McNelly. Bert and his family are to be with us and there will be a reception following our Eucharist.
*****A Special Thank You to Nancy Huess and her helpers that did the Thanksgiving Day
Community Lunch.
I talked with Ralph Whitman this morning--he had a little spell but his doctor thinks it will be corrected through an adjustment with his medication. Morgan Wright is having some issues with his ears. The doctor is thinking of surgery and Morgan says, "As the day goes on he gets pretty wobbly". He has fallen a couple of times. He is grateful for nurse Mae. Cesar Arreaza is coming along quite well after his surgery and plans to be back at church soon. Keep all in your prayers and thoughts.
December 9 will be our Pasada. After the service, we will gather at the side door nearest the office and follow Mary and Joseph as they seek lodging before the birth of Jesus. After being turned away at several doors, they will be welcomed at the Parish Hall where we will
all enjoy an enchilada lunch. It is a beautiful celebration, and we hope you can come.
The office will be closed December 11 and 12 while Dianne W. has cataract surgery.
Keep her in your prayers.
