We are so happy to welcome Karen Holbrook as our newest member of Epiphany. She was received by
Bishop Harrison at Sunday's service. Also, Jaxon Gonzales was formally commissioned as our head acolyte and presented the cincture by Bishop Harrison with his parents, grandparents, and other family members
in attendance. In addition,, there was a blessing for the gifts for the Elves for the Elderly, Following this was our
Thanksgiving Feast, lovingly prepared by the ladies of St. Anne's Guild and others in the church. It was made
extra special by the visit of Bishop Harrison. We hope all who worked so hard are getting some rest..
Another word about Community Kitchen-Someone asked Sunday where the money comes from to buy
the food. Epiphany gives $150 a month, other churches give some, and individuals contribute. The folks whom we call our guests put in what they can. We remember once a lady put in a handful of pennies; and once or twice a year, a lady puts in a hundred dollars or so. She saves up and calls it her tithe. Most of the meat we use is venison mixed with beef or pork. It comes from Trinity Oaks. A warm thank you to Bruce and Staci McComas and Jim Curran who said they would like to help. If this is something you might like to do, our
