From Michael-"The liturgy for Phyllis was just beautiful, just as she would have planned it herself.
I was honored to be part of it. On Sunday, December 2 (First Sunday of Advent), Bert and his family
will be with us. We'll say prayers for Phyllis and her family and get together with the McNelly clan
in a reception following our Eucharist. Please join us if you can."
Last Sunday, we heard inspiring words from Jeannie Loving about her work in Honduras. Thanks to
your generosity, over $1,000 was collected to further her work.
We hope you got a chance to meet Stan and Linda Rush, neighbors and friends of ours who live
on 1174. They very much enjoyed being at Epiphany.
This Sunday, Michael will not be with us. Fr. Ben Long will be our supply priest.
From our Senior Warden, Diane Hays- "Your vestry has begun preliminary budget planning, looking
forward to finalizing the budget in late December.
Our October financials:
Income $7,420
Expenses $10,999
FYI: Financial reporting is presented at vestry meetings (monthly 3rd Thursday). For your viewing,
the actual financial report is posted on the bulletin board outside Dianne Williams' office." Please
turn in your 2019 Pledge Cards by 12-2-2018 if at all possible.
Cesar Arreaza is recovering from his foot surgery. He said, "Please give my regards to the nicest
congregation around!!!"
December 9 will be our 4th (I think) annual Posada. After the service, we will gather at the side
door nearest the office and follow Mary and Joseph as they seek lodging before the birth of Jesus.
After being turned away at several doors, they will be welcomed at the Parish Hall where we will
all enjoy an enchilada lunch. More details will be coming later. It is a beautiful celebration, and
we hope you can come.
Attendance Sunday was 44.
Those scheduled to serve this Sunday are Diane Hays and Sherry Musgrove. Ushers are Claude
Burks and Mark Milanovich. Serving on altar guild are Cecile Gloier and Ellie Burks. Providing
refreshments for coffee hour are Carol Weathers and Alicia White. Vestry Person of the Day is
