A couple of items that I forgot to include in the regular E-Star:
Remember that Saturday, November 4th Daylight Savings Timeends. Turn your clocks back an hour. So before going to bed at 10:00 p.m., turn your clocks back to 9:00 p.m. (an extra hour of sleep!)
The other thing was KBEY and the Picayune are having a FoodDrive on Wednesday, November 9th at two locations: Marble Falls Fire Station, 700 Avenue N – benefiting The Helping Center Burnet Fire Station, Water Street (Highway 281) – benefiting LaCare Food Bank Highland Lakes neighbors need help providing food for themselves and families. KBEY 103.9 FM and The Picayune Magazine ask for your support to help bring much-needed donations to our area food banks.
Mac and Ben will be on air from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. to encourage community members to drop off food and financial donations during the annual food drive.
