Numbers aren't everything, but it was wonderful to have 52 people in church Sunday-old members, new members, and visitors.
By now you will have received your pledge card in the mail. Please prayerfully consider it and bring it to church on
December 3.
Great news! Shelia Wilson is heading down south for a while. Not only is she a valuable asset to the choir, but a good
friend; and she has been greatly missed.
This Sunday, November 19 will be our covered dish lunch in Thanksgiving for the family that is Epiphany. Please try
to join us. Even if you are not able to bring anything, please come. We guarantee there will be plenty for all. Joining
us will be Bishop Dena Harrison. Let us all make her especially welcome.
Also on November 19 at 5 pm will be the Community Thanksgiving Service at the Vanderveer Church of Christ.
Bill Mosley, Interim Pastor at First Lutheran, will be preaching.
Please remember the Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner headed up by Nancy Heuss. This is a huge undertaking.
Please call Nancy at 512-756-6768 or 512-755-4341 if you can help in any way-cooking, serving or cleaning up.
Much help is needed.
The Needlework Guild will meet on Tuesday, December 5 at 9 am for an organization meeting. They are already
working to provide hand made gifts for the Elves for the Elderly program. For more information, contact Ellie
