A message from Father Michael,
"The latest update shows that there are three new COVID 19 cases in Burnet County. That has put our recent plans for public worship on hold, at least until we speak with Bishop Ryan.
This may be a good moment to lay out what will happen as we approach that day. First, you will receive an RSVP form, asking whether you would like to be in the first group, which will be limited to a maximum of 30 people.
When those first worshipers come, someone will greet them at the front red doors, take temperature (non-touch thermometer), go through a brief checklist of COVID symptoms, make sure all have masks (we will provide them for those who don't), ask them to sign in (in case someone should test positive later), and remind all of distancing requirements.
We have submitted our regathering plan to Bishop Ryan and received her initial response. We will continue to work toward resuming worship in our church in as safe and timely a way possible."
Happy Birthday to J.J. Gonzales who celebrates his birthday on May 30 and to Sheila Wilson who celebrates her birthday on June 3. Happy Anniversary to Maria and J.J. Gonzales who celebrate their anniversary on
June 2.
Thank you so much for continuing to send in your pledges and other offerings.
Elias Montemayor has some services to offer:
A Landscaping Service-He will maintain your lawn with mowing, trimming edges, and air
blowing curbs, driveways, etc. The cost depends on the size of the lawn but around $40.00.
Also, he can customize your mailbox showing your local school support, college attended,
or patriotic themes. He does it with acrylic paint which stays vibrant for several years
unlike graphic paper design that is glued to the mailbox. This includes sealer on the
mailbox too. Prices start at $45.00.
He also does murals, t-shirts, paintings, frames, and art lessons.
For more information, call or text him at 512-755-7791.
Those reading the lessons and prayers this Sunday are Rufus and Sandy Arrington.
Stay safe,
Have a blessed week,
Carpe Every Diem,
Rufus and Sandy
