The Rev. Dorothy Gremillion, visiting priest Sunday, gave a unique sermon based on the lessons of the day. Of special accent was “Jesus, walk with me and Jesus is my GPS.” Sorry if you missed it; it was very thought provoking.
This coming Sunday, May 14th, our visiting priest will be the Rev. Janice Jones from Georgetown. She and her husband Rick live in Georgetown. A native of New England, she has been in Texas for almost 20 years and is a graduate of the Seminary of the Southwest.
Words from the Sr. Warden: “Unfortunately, our poor Parish Hall sustained storm damage during Friday's turbulent weather. The ceilings in the hallway, classrooms and custodial closet were wet. We suspect hail damage to the roof occurred. Insurance company has been contacted. There was water observed on the floor by the East doors across from the office. The door company has been contacted. The doors to the Nave from the Narthex will be soon repaired. The door company was out prior to the storm to look at them. The caulking job done by Cecile and Susan along the wall appears to have held up well. Many thanks for your help on this job ladies. Prayers need to be continued and uplifted for our building. Cranz is checking on a new seal for under the east doors. Deana”
Fr. Michael will return from vacation Sunday, May 21st.
