Looking Ahead to April-April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Nancy Heuss, a member of the Child Welfare Board has asked for our help. You may remember seeing children's shoes hanging from trees on the Courthouse Lawn. Seeing those small shoes serves as a reminder of how many young children are in abusive situations. Small shoes are needed; so if you have access to any, please bring them to the church. They do not have to be in pairs. Seeing those shoes brings the reality of child abuse home. Also, beginning the first Sunday in April, we will have the blue ribbons available at church, another reminder. Thank you so much for your help.
