CHURCH PICNIC----COMING UP JUNE 30 AFTER CHURCH......" No Flies"---Indoor in the Parish Hall....No Sweat, or at least minimum. So here's the deal: the hamburger patties, wieners, and buns will be taken care of....we are going to make 50 hamburgers and 25 hot dogs. We are trying to Avoid Waste that we have had in the past and KEEP IT SIMPLE. We will need 4 people to bring dessert, 4 people to bring chips, and 4 people to bring salad, 4 people to bring lettuce and tomato.
Let Sandy Arrington know Sunday or call her at 512-355-3492 or email her. This will minimize clean up also.
Thank you one and all. We know you won't but it would be nice if you would us know if you are going to attend. This will afford a time of good food and fellowship. Also, you will be given an idea of
Epiphany's Financial Position at this time rather than January of next year by the Vestry.
Hear ye, here ye---"THE RUMMAGE SALE"---will be 9-6 and 9-7, the Friday and Saturday after Labor Day. More info regarding a Storage Building will be forthcoming.
On another note...Congratulations to Jim and Carol Weathers on their NEW Granddaughter, Nora

A note from Michael's Sermon: " My point---and you may doubt that I have one--is that we are in good company when we figuratively look up to heaven and think, 'Now what? 'OR’ what are we supposed to do now?' Because just as surely as those two guys in white robes pulled the apostles back to matters at hand, just as surely does the Holy Spirit call to us, engulf us, comfort us, strengthen us, that we might do the next right thing: hold a friend's hand, share a memory, share a meal, and be both receivers and givers of the love God has showered upon us from the beginning of time. "
