A Word from Father Michael-
"Thank you so much for your outpouring of love and hard work last Friday (well, and in preparation for last Friday) at the luncheon following George Shoop's funeral.
Even though I'm writing in a rather impersonal way, my gratitude is heartfelt. Your efforts clearly
demonstrated the parish family that we are together.
I'm sorry I don't have an email address for Sherry Ward or Sue Brunson, at least that I can find. Please convey my thanks to them when you see them.
I'll be back at Epiphany on June 28.
What a great and loving family!
Michael+"

In Michael's sermon last Sunday were these words, "Finding our home in the Lord, to use Paul's phrase, seems to me to be very much like those moments in which we recognize that our words, our gestures, our actions, are not wholly our own, that God has used us in a way we could never have imagined." Thanks, Michael. This seems to us to speak to exactly what happened when George died
and what happens so often at Epiphany.
Have a blessed week,
Carpe Every Diem.
Rufus and Sandy
