Plans for the June 30 Church Picnic are coming right along. Since it is the Sunday before the 4th of July, let’s all try to wear red, white, and blue in honor of the birthday of our country. A big thank you to Kris Picken, Sherry Musgrove, Jane Scheidler, Diane Hays, Diane Langley, Karen Leitch, Georgie Nolan, and Lee and Linda Myers for providing food for the even. We have most of it, but we could use another salad, another dessert, and some lettuce and tomato for the hamburgers. Also, it would be a great help if you can let us know if you can come. We have never run short of food yet, but I would sure hate to. However, if you don't know until the last minute, please come anyway.
It is also time to be thinking about St. Anne's annual rummage sale. Furniture and other large items can be brought to the storage unit. The address is Westore, 2111 W. HW 29. The telephone number is 756-2096. It is Unit # 30 on the first row as you enter the facility. The key and sign out sheet is in the church office.
Sunday Attendance-39
Those scheduled to serve this coming Sunday are Rufus and Sandy Arrington.
Ushers are June and Mark Hutson.
Those serving on Altar Guild are Diane Hays and Barbara DeHart..
Coffee Hosts are Georgie Nolan and Lee and Linda Myers. Vestry Person of the Day is Alicia White.
Michael in his Pentecost sermon last Sunday talked much about the Holy Spirit. He concluded by saying, The Holy Spirit will teach us everything. I've discovered through the years that does not mean that we---and by we, I mean "I"---will learn everything. The information is here, all around us, and we have only to avail ourselves of it. Our teachers are everywhere present, if we will only listen to them.
Have a Blessed Week
Carpe every Diem
