We hope this finds you well and safe-and wearing your mask when you go out. The Covid 19
cases continue to rise after the opening up of so many places and the July 4 holiday. Currently, there are 180 (7-6-2020-Burnet Co. Website) cases in Burnet County.
As an aside, not everyone may know Dr. Ryan Guthrie. He is not only the son of Carol Guthrie but is also the assistant to Dr. Juliette Madrigal-and a new lay reader also. Anyway, he is keeping us up to date with the newest information.
Also, as a result of the Covid 19, numbers are way down at Community Kitchen-which is probably really a good thing. So, Community Kitchen will be closed until at least the first Thursday in September.
Please continue to keep LaVerne and Kathleen Broad in your prayers as LaVerne continues with Hospice. Kathleen called last night to say that LaVerne was in good spirits and still has her sense of humor. Please also continue to pray for the Lyda family as they mourn the loss of Ramona Lyda, Andy and Roy's Mom.
There will be no Vestry Meeting in July. If you know of pressing concerns, please contact Deborah Kelley.
Daughters of the King will have a zoom meeting Wednesday, July 22 at 2:00 p.m. If any lady in the church would like to join us and learn more about Daughters, you are most welcome. Contact me (Sandy Arrington) for more information.
Attendance last Sunday-35.
Those reading this Sunday are David and Karen Leitch.
A very Happy Birthday to Cecile Gloier, Carol Slape, and Alicia White who are celebrating
their birthdays TODAY and to Money Adams who celebrates his birthday July 15.
Happy Anniversary to Mark and June Hutson who celebrate their anniversary on July 10.
Be safe,
Stay well,
Carpe every diem,
Sandy and Rufus
