From the Sr. Warden: "We had a good annual visit by Bishop Kai Ryan. The Service was excellent (great sermon) and she joined us for the luncheon afterward. The parish hall was decorated in patriotic red/white/blue and the food was plentiful and delicious. Thank you everyone who assisted!! It was wonderful to see tables filled with people enjoying the fellowship and food. Bishop Ryan met with the vestry and Fr. Michael afterward for a very productive discussion about goals, accomplishments and challenges. All-in-all it was a GREAT visit!
There are still some ladies' care items in the classroom in the admin. building; free for anyone who might need them. These were generously given by Jo Lipscomes' family. Part of these items (a car load) were also donated by Epiphany to the Honduras Mission Trip(https://hondurasgoodworks.org) and taken to St. Albans in Austin to be packed for the flight to Honduras. FYI, the Junior Warden and I will be meeting this afternoon with an insurance adjuster from the Church insurance Corp. to examine the roof for damage(we have a leak in the parish hall). It's my hope that whatever repairs are needed might be covered by our policy. I will update everyone soon."
