Some words from Tom Mamot, Foundation Director of the St. Stephens Indian Mission Foundation. We found them very meaningful and hope you will too, "In these unsettled and stressful times there is hope and confidence that a loving God will bring us through and make us stronger. Our faith is being tested. We each need to draw from within ourselves the strength to proceed and do what we can do to help others. A positive outlook in these dark times isn't easy to maintain but, with it, we can be examples that might inspire others."
(From Michael) There is so much that we are missing during this pandemic, especially just being with each other. There have been some unexpected benefits, however:

Dr. Lynn Gray and Dr. R.G. Guthrie will be participating in testing a new drug that may be useful in treating Covid 19 this weekend. Please keep them in your prayers as well as prayers for an outcome that will prove helpful.
The news about the Covid 19 seems to be a little brighter in Texas. If so, it is because we have been diligent about wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and staying home when we are sick. Please, let's all keep it up.
This week, Melinda Lovelace celebrates her birthday on August 5.
Celebrating wedding anniversaries this week are Doug and Sue Brunson on August 1
and Mark and Dawn Milanovich on August 5.
Stay well and be safe,

(From Michael) There is so much that we are missing during this pandemic, especially just being with each other. There have been some unexpected benefits, however:
- We have been joined on Sunday mornings by some of our parishioners who could not have been with us otherwise.
- We see each other during our worship, as if we were gathered in a circle around the altar facing each other.
- Our website (https://epiphanyburnet.weebly.com/) now offers recordings of the previous Sunday morning's worship and sermon--in fact all of those, dating back to March 15.
- The text version of the bulletin includes our Sunday prayer list. You can use it for your own prayers during the week and check for names to be added or deleted.
