Do you remember our fun picnic a few weeks ago? The leftover meat was given to the Community Kitchen; and this Thursday we will be having a Cajun sausage and rice dish. In a few weeks we will use the hot dogs. The kitchen thanks you very much.
Please remember Angie Cordell, Dianne Ragland's niece, and who has done so much good work for Epiphany in your prayers. Her father died last week.
Almost every day we wake up to Bill Hecke's weather forecast. He always mentions to leave nothing alive in a closed parked car-no plants, no people, no pets (maybe not in that order). We know you wouldn't ,but on our trip, we heard that so far this year 21 children have died because they were left in a parked car in over 100 degree temperatures. Let's all try to look out for each other.
Breakfast with Michael- so far we know that about 10 are coming. Please let us know by Sunday, August 6 if you can come.
Dates to remember:
Thursday July 20-Community Kitchen but NO VESTRY MEETING
Sunday, July 30-Daughters of the King meets after church
Thursday, August 10-from 9-10-Breakfast with Michael
Attendance Sunday-40. Collection not available
Those scheduled to serve this Sunday are David Leitch and Rachel Bryson. Ushers are Bobbie and George Clear.
Vestry Person of the Day is Alicia White. Fr. Ben Long will be our Supply Priest. It will be good to have him.
Have a blessed week,
Carpe Every Diem,
Rufus and Sandy
