The Burnet Chamber of Commerce and the Highland Lakes YMCA have joined up for a Burnet Community End-of-the-Summer Pool Party! This will be a FREE event for the whole community on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm at the YMCA of the Highland Lakes 1601 South Water St., Burnet. They will be serving hotdogs, popcorn, and snow cones by Kona Ice. Suit up, bring your towels and get ready for some fun! This is a free event, no RSVP needed.
The Women’s Ministry is sponsoring an “All Women Come Together ‘24” on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (free) at the Burnet Community Center. It’s an afternoon of friendship and worship. If you are able, please bring a new stuffed animal and/or new blanket to be given to the children that are ministered to at the Hill Country Advocacy Center. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. LA Care is in great need of empty egg cartons, especially the one-dozen size. If you can bring them to the church either on Sunday or leave them in the church office…Rufus and Sandy Arrington will see that they get to La Care. Thank you!
Community Kitchen is Thursday, July 14th! Come by and pick up a free meal at Community Kitchen. We are serving from 4:00 until 5:30 p.m.
