As you know, Sunday was the Annual Parish Meeting (CELEBRATION). Epiphany enjoyed a very good 2019 and is going into 2020 in a favorable position both financially and spiritually as well as excellent potential for growth. Four new members were elected to the Vestry-- for a 2-year term-Otis MacClay and for 3-year terms: Linda Myers, Diane Langley, and Margaret Thomas. Deborah Kelley did an excellent job as Senior Warden in 2019 and will carry on as Senior Warden in 2020. Thanks to ALL the Epiphany Family for making 2019 a great year at Epiphany. It took a lot of hard work and dedication. Thank you, Fr. Michael, for being OUR SHEPHERD.
***Gumbo Lunch---It is Less than 30 days to February 21st, the proposed date---for it to happen will take a lot of help. We need Gumbo makers, salad makers, tea makers, servers, take-out help, parking lot advisers, etc., etc., etc. IF YOU CAN HELP, CONTACT JIM DYKE p.d.q. For it to happen, we ALL HAVE TO PITCH IN.
Monday, on Martin Luther King's Birthday, Jill Castillo, Diane Woods and Sheridan Gill brought the "The Chick-fil-aLeadership Group” from Burnet High School to Epiphany to do service work. They cleaned the Fountain Lantana Bed, the Patio Area, cleaned the Parish Hall Kitchen, straightened the pantry, organized the kitchen drawers, general parish hall cleaning, picked up trash, and many other things. This group is involved in a Year Long Leadership Program focused service. Thank you All so much. (See the photo attached.) By the way, one of the young people involved was our own Jaxon Gonzales.
