First, we want to begin with saying a great big thank you to you, Michael, for all you do. We are so grateful that God has sent you to us and to Burnet.
This coming Sunday, January 6, we will celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany after church at coffee hour. If you happen to have left over Christmas goodies to go along with the King's Cake, please bring them. Unfortunately, Michael will not be able to be with us as he is leaving right after church to celebrate the Eucharist in Spanish at St. John's Episcopal Church in Austin.
January 13 will be our covered dish lunch followed by the Annual Parish Meeting. Please try your best to be there.
At the Parish meeting, we will elect new vestry members and council delegates and conduct other business of the church. Everyone's input is needed.
It is time for the prayer list to be updated. Please circle the names that need to be left on the prayer list in the Nathax.
Liturgical Calendars are available in the Narthax. Cost is $2.50
A Word about Daughters of the King-Daughters of the King is a prayer and service organization open to women of the Episcopal Church. We find it to be very meaningful. If this is something you have wondered about, please ask. You will know who is a daughter by the small cross she wears. Better yet, think about coming to our next meeting, January 29 after church. We would love to have you come and see if it is your cup of tea.
Thank you to Cesar Arrerza and Mark Pack for volunteering to provide bread and salad for the February Alzheimer's Respite Group in February
Attendance last Sunday-35
