Coming up this coming Sunday, January 15th, is Covered Dish Sunday, Birthday Celebration, and Epiphany's Annual Meeting. Please try to attend.
Report From the Community Kitchen Meeting:
The Community Kitchen is in dire need of someone to take over being in charge and cooking the First Thursday of each month. The third Thursday is covered for the cooking. The Methodist Ladies will continue to provide the desserts. Help is always needed for set up and cleanup. The 2nd, 4th, and 5th Thursday's are covered. At the present time The Kitchen is o.k. financially. They will let us know if that becomes an issue. As we know, the Churches that participate are pretty full up, so other organizations are being sought out to participate. Another meeting regarding the Kitchen will be held February 20th at 3:00 p.m.at the Church of Christ.

From Michael's Sermon: " The Magi represent us as they brave the difficult elements of climate, and terrain and the opposition of a corrupt kind and fearful populace. Their pilgrimage has one goal: to give thanks to God for intervening
in this world longing for peace, mutual respect, and love, to praise God for giving us memory, reason, and skill. Our prayer at Epiphany is that we might continue to follow the leading of that star, to become better and better collaborators with God in bringing devine love to all people in all places"
