Something that is quite interesting is that we have a number of people that are in our area part of the time and whenever they are here--they have become "Epiphanites." It is wonderful. Our church is growing in numbers, little by little, and hopefully will continue to do so.
Our sermon Sunday was given by Steven Tomlinson, our student intern. He talked about "Friendship." "He said there are two kinds of friends--Real friends, the ones you love and the other are Deal friends, the ones that help you to get ahead." Steven gave us much to think about, sorry if you missed it.
I was sorry to learn of the death of Jim Curran, a longtime member of Epiphany. He died at his home with his wife, Maureen, after a lengthy illness. The Funeral will be Friday, the 10th, at 10:00 a.m. at Epiphany with a reception for the family afterwards. Visitation will be at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home in Burnet, Thursday, February 9th, 5-7 p.m.
From the Clerk of the Vestry (Susan Wallace): "After the Vestry approves the minutes and financial reports on February 16, we will resume posting of the approved minutes and financial reports on the bulletin board outside the Office in the Administration Building."
If any of you wish to be confirmed by Bishop Doyle at his visitation to Epiphany, please contact Fr. Michael so he can schedule a confirmation class, via zoom.

INSURANCE CLAIMS UPDATES from Linda Myers: “We are still working on all three claims: 1. We have submitted 3 more estimates on the roof and are asking for more money. 2. Parish Hall--we have 2 contractors coming Monday, February 13, to review the damage and give bids. Have also learned we do not have asbestos under the Parish Hall carpet. 3. Lightening strike--we are waiting on the second adjuster's report on the black residue and an estimate from the electrician on outside lighting. If I had a magic wand, I'd wave it--sadly, I don't. It will get done eventually. Blessings, Linda"
