Sunday was the Bishop's Visitation by The Right Reverend Katheryn M. Ryan.  She met with Fr. Michael and the Vestry after the service.  She offices in Austin and oversees some 60 churches in the western part and central part of the Diocese of Texas.  She had nothing to say but positive and encouraging things about Epiphany. She was very affirming of the community involvement of Epiphany in Burnet.  She also said if she could be of help in any way or any time not to hesitate to call on her.  It also happened that Sunday was also Scout Sunday, and she gave special recognition to the scouts and leaders through a special prayer for them.

A special letter from the scout master:
"We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate 35 consecutive years of registration with Boy Scouts of America as Troop 282 and Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Thank you to all involved with the Episcopal Church
of the Epiphany past and present whom without your support we couldn’t have been able to provide this program for boys to learn many skills. Everyone who has been involved with the scouting program would like to extend their gratitude from the bottom of their heart for the safe place that has been provided.  This has greatly improved opportunities for the Scouts to be successful in their future ".

(As a side note, the Milanovich's grandson, Luke, is in this troop and their grandson Trey's Eagle Project was
the redoing of the fountain into a Lantana Garden.)
