Last Wednesday evening we had our first Lenten Soup Supper of the year. Of course there were wonderful soups by Marsha Bloxom (with assist from Walter), Linda Myers, and Carol Weathers. There were 19 of us in the parish hall. The discussion of the creeds, using Walk in Love as a guide, was lively and thoughtful. We ended the evening a few minutes before 7:00 with the brief service "In the Early Evening" from "Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families" (page 139) in the Book of Common Prayer. We would love to have you join us at 5:30 this coming Wednesday. We will discuss Holy Scripture, using Chapter 14, "Written for Our Learning," from Walk in Love as our guide
PREPARATIONS FOR NAVE RENOVATIONS: From Sandy Arrington: A BIG THANK YOU to the Acup family, the Major-Torgenson family, and the young Milanovich family. They ALL, big and small, moved the red books from the Choir Room to Classroom A. Together, they got it done! One step closer to the restoration.
From Deana Geuther: Georgie Nolan is currently serving as the trainer for “Safeguarding God’s People” at Epiphany. She will be retiring at the end of this year. With that in mind, we will to find someone in the congregation that can be the trainer. Georgie will no doubt help with the training and curriculum involved. If you are interested, please get in touch with Janet Wilton (Parish Administrator) at the church office, 512-756-2334 or by email: [email protected].

KUDOS to Diane Hays for last year suggesting that the Easter Lillies from our service be planted in the round fountain flowerbed between the Parish Hall and the Church. The lilies are coming up nicely! They remind me of the resurrection of Christ. – Deana Geuther.
Please continue to pray for all in need of comfort, healing, and support. We are all God’s children and are called to serve Him in any way we can.
