A Question--was Sunday "Youth Sunday"? No, but you would not have
guessed it. We had 13 youth in attendance Sunday; 5 from the Montemayer family, 3 from the Bailey family 4 grandchildren of the Kelley's, and Ian Rodriguez, grandson of George Nolan. Yep, mighty fine seeing all the young faces smiling and helping. Thank you so much for being there YOUTH.
Fr. Michael gave some comments regarding the Diocesan Council in Waco, and Kenda Avery gave a
presentation on the Council from the prospective of a non-Episcopalian. Don't know about you but
we learned a lot from her sharing. Thank you Kenda. Fr. Michael called everyone's attention to the latest copy of the "The Texas Episcopalian" Changing Times publication that you should have received in the mail last week. It really covers what your financial giving to the Diocese is being used for. If you did not receive it there is a copy in the office or you can read it online in the Diocesan website.
A Special Thank You to the DOK, Alicia White, and Carol Weathers for providing LUNCH for the
Alzheimer's Respite Group on Tuesday, February 11th. If anyone would like to help with bread and
Salad, or dessert, on the 2nd Tuesday in April, CONTACT Sandy Arrington.
*****THANK YOU PATRICK KELLEY for repairing the LOCK on the Youth Center door.
There are GUMBO TICKETS available at the office if you need some to sell--that is what will this
Luncheon a success.
