The Needlework Guild, with the blessings of Michael and the Vestry, is in the beginning phase of making needlepoint kneelers for our church. We will be
asking for donations (that can go without saying), but right now we need people to commit to stitching. This would be a most rewarding experience. If you have ever stitched or needlepointed or think you might want to learn and help stitch our kneelers, come to the Youth Center onSeptember 2 at 10:00A.M. We have kits with all needed supplies plus experienced stitchers who will teach you all you need to know. Needlepointing is for both men and women. Rosie Greer designed and stitched his own needlepoint.
The religious symbols and colors will add to the experiences and beauty of Epiphany and will last a lifetime. At this point, a professional is creating the designs for the kneelers. As soon as her pattern renditions are completed, they will be displayed for all to see and give input.
Hope to see many of you on the 2nd.
