A Word from Sandy about the Posada on December 13- We will process out the east doors and go to Michael's office, the church office, and the Youth Center seeking shelter for Mary, Joseph, and the baby about to be born. We will be denied a place at each of these rooms and proceed to the Parish Hall where we will be welcomed. Rufus and I will serve a Mexican Lunch as our Christmas gift to our wonderful Epiphany family. Now, it would be helpful, although not essential if you would let us know if you can come so we will know how many enchiladas to make.
All women of the church are invited to attend the St. Anne's Christmas Party on Saturday, the 12th of December in the Parish Hall from 3:00 until 5:00. Please bring a finger food and what ever beverage of choice. No gifts this year. We will take up a monetary donation for Brown Santa at the Burnet Co. Sheriff's Department. Hope all of you will attend. There will be surprises and lots of fun.
A big thank you to Phyllis McNelly, Carol Weathers, and Patty Murray for preparing the Alzheimer's Lunch next week.

Michael's sermon last Sunday was especially meaningful; but then, they all are. He pushed for us to ask ourselves on that day of basic beginnings, "Do I believe in God or not Really believe, where and when it matters in my life. And How does that affect the way I live my life today and every day?" He concluded by saying, "We are called to take responsibility for our part of our relationship with God (and with other people), and not to try to take responsibility for what doesn't belong to us. This is belief in God. All the rest is explication.." Thanks Michael.
Have a blessed week,
