Sunday was quite an "Event" after the Eucharist; "Las Posadas"---Everybody, including the
singers, the guitarist (Shelia Wilson), Joseph and Mary (Tim & Melinda Hallmark), the innkeepers,
Sherry Musgrove, Jim Dyke, and Shannon Skinner were just perfect.
Moving along to the Parish Hall...Beans by Carol Weathers, Rice by Karen Leitch,
Dessert by Diane Langley, and the ever present Shannon Skinner helping out Everywhere.
And last, the "Enchilada Queen" serving up chicken, beef, and cheese enchiladas from her
"Cocina de Sur" of Oatmeal. All I can say is Many thanks to All--even those I failed to mention.
It was a true delight to hear all the chatter and laughter from the parishioners having
fun and packing it away. Thank You and a "Good Time was had by All".......
Monday, the Ladies of St. Annes' hosted a party and gift exchange for the children from the
Head Start group across the street. Fun was had by all. Thank You ladies.

the Alzheimer's Respite Group yesterday.

From Michael's sermon, “Luke’s setting of the scene reminds his original audience and us
that this grace of God coming into the world was announced by a real person, in a specific
year (15th of Tiberius's reign--somewhere between 27 and 29 in our way of reckoning), in a
particular place. It, in other words, was and is real." Thank you Michael.
Have a Blessed Week
