The old bell was removed Thursday morning. It has been placed in the administration building outside Janet's office. Come by and check it out. You can ring it if you like! It's elevated a bit on cinder blocks to allow it to ring. Thank you, Cranz for that great idea!
The drywall inside the church is being totally removed from the walls facing Wood Street in the Narthex, choir room, nursery and bathroom. DC Restoration work crew was getting started on removal this afternoon. Masons completed removing the stone. Tyvek house wrap remains in place on the outside front walls to provide protection from rain and moisture. The glass entrance doors into the Nave will be locked and sealed off with tape. The black plastic sheeting covering the glass wall has been taped closed to help reduce construction dust filtering into the Nave. HVAC registers in the narthex were being covered with plastic to prevent dust from entering the system.

“Be soft. Do not let the world make you hard. Do not let the pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe it to be a beautiful place.” ---Iain S. Thomas
