I hope that everyone took a few minutes to read the letter from Episcopal Relief and Development that I forwarded to all last week. The best way to say it is, "Way to Go Epiphany". It is good to share the fruits of your labor. Amen.
We would like to say THANK YOU for the beautiful celebration luncheon Sunday. It was so good to see everyone enjoying themselves thoroughly. It is good to see Epiphany so happy. Cissy and Caden Walker as well as Bruce and Stacy McComus were at church Sunday. The Walkers said Caden is playing in a "Select Soccer League" which means he is traveling out of town most Sundays. Bruce and Stacy went back to Idaho earlier this week.
Sandy and I went by to visit Mae and Morgan Wright Sunday. They are doing pretty well and seeing to each other. Morgan uses a walker exclusively to get around and he says his knees and ankles are weak. Their greatest fear is his falling, but they're trying to be extra careful. Unbelievable that he is 98 and she is 92. He said he sure is glad he married a young girl. And they said to tell everybody hello.
Claude and Ellie Burks have had a round with Covid. Ellie has since tested negative but Claude is positive. He is slow in getting his strength back.
Please keep Mae and Morgan and Ellie and Claude Burks in your Special Prayers for comfort, healing, and guidance.
