Some words from Fr. Michael:
"Tuesday, the Committee on Re-gathering (Deborah Kelley, Linda Myers, Sandy Arrington, and Michael Long) met. Everyone has missed receiving Holy Communion. By far, an outdoor service is the safest so we are thinking in those terms with a target date of September 20. One thought is to have people sit in their own cars, forming a circle in the parking lots; and Michael would go from car to car dispensing communion. It would need to be early while it is still cool. (Or at our usual 10:30 if people want to run the AC in their cars. Another possibility is to meet at an earlier time, seating folks under the overhang (breezeway or walkway) alongside the church and administration building, facing toward the fountain. In any case masks and social distancing will be required.
In the next two weeks, Michael will be sending out a survey so we can get a better idea of what parishioners would like. A big thank you to you who have given us ideas already, and we will be happy to receive more. The committee will meet again on September 2.

"Dr. Messer, a friend and colleague of mine . . . started this non-profit (One Good Turn) several years ago. I have not yet read the handbook mentioned below but feel it is likely very good basic info.
