We begin with notes of sadness for Claude and Ellie Burks and the Bailey Family.
Claude and Ellie lost their granddaughter and Justin Bailey lost his mother last
week.. Please keep these two families in your prayers as they grieve.

We have learned that Jim Curran has been admitted to Scot and White, Marble

Falls with COVID--he was isolated for some time as there are no ICU beds avail-
able in Central Texas.  They assume Maureen has it also so she is in isolation for
five days.  R G is going to have to have another MRI under anesthesia.  All are in 
a wait and hold situation-keep all in your prayers.

Hopefully, you received the Treasurer's Report we forwarded on Monday.  Thank
 ALL OF YOU for your continued support  and commitment.

Happy Birthday to Ken Tolliver, Paul Dorman(8-27), Ellie Burks(8-29) and Bill
Drake(8-30).

Be careful of the extreme heat we are having, also.  The latest figures we
have are that Burnet County is only 48% vaccinated.  Burnet is considered to be
at a SEVERE RISK COVID LEVEL.  Leander ISD reports 400 cases, and they may
close the schools.  One of the Elementary schools in Marble Falls is closed, but
just temporarily for Covid. Please be careful.  Be  safe........
