***Words from our Sr. Warden:
"Mike and I were saddened to hear about Otis and Jane's daughter, we pray that God will hold you in His loving arms.
It is my deepest prayer that everyone is staying well!
According to Dr. Madrigal (County Health Physician) the Covid-19 numbers for Burnet County are going down! This is
music to my ears!! Praying that with school starting next week that those numbers continue to spiral downward.
Speaking of school starting – a very wise friend had these words of advice:
“Tell every parent ‘That’s a great choice’ no matter which way they pick to send children to school or to tackle things at home. There is NO wrong answer! You have to choose what’s best for your family AND the choice that brings peace of mind that you can live with!” Please be encouraging to all who are having to make these choices – no matter your beliefs – tell them they are making a great choice!
I spoke with Diane Hays (our Treasurer) and as of last Sunday, we have received approximately 52% of our annual budget. Thank you all for your continued support to Epiphany. Even though we are not meeting at the Church, our bills continue. Summer is historically our lowest time for pledges to come in, and hopefully things will turn around in the months to come.
Please let a Vestry member know if there are any issues you would like discussed at the
meeting Thursday, August 20th.
Stay cool and well,
Deborah"
