Alleluia, Christ is Risen! What a wonderful gift it was to experience the last days of Jesus's life, beginning with Palm Sunday, going through Holy Week with Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and ending with the glory of the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday. Thanks to everyone who made it possible and especially Michael.

We heard many moving and powerful words last week and Sunday; but perhaps the most meaningful were the ones Michael closed his sermon at the Easter Vigil.
He had just spoken about Mark's short and succinct account of the Resurrection. He said, "However else we read this proclamation of Jesus' resurrection, we can certainly read it this way: The truth is that God's love, God's passion for justice and peace are stronger than the worst that human beings can dish out. God's love will prevail. And we are called, as those who follow the risen Christ, walk in that way, to adopt that life, and to carry this good news to others" Thanks again, Michael.
