From Father Michael: No in-church worship this Sunday, April 7, because of the solar eclipse on Monday. We will worship via Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link on Friday or Saturday, the same link we have used for several years, so you can also find it in a previous "Invitation to worship" email from me.
Sunday prayer list update. We need to update the list and keep it as compact as possible. Please send an email to [email protected] by Wednesday, April 10, requesting that a name be removed or remain on the list. Names will be removed from the April 14 bulletin unless you request specifically a name or names be left on it. Moving forward, any name will be placed on the list for one month and then be removed unless there is a specific request to continue. The Sunday list is for acute concerns. Requests for ongoing prayers may be made to the Daughters of the King via Sherry Musgrove ([email protected]).

CONGRATULATIONS: to Maria Gonzales for her selection to serve as the next City Secretary for the City of Burnet. Maria has done an outstanding job during her time with the city. We have no doubt she will continue to excel in her new role. (David Vaughn column in the Burnet Bulletin, Wednesday, 3, 2024.)
