Let us begin by saying what a wonderful and enjoyable event the Church Picnic was. Thank you Bill, Elizabeth, and Addison Drake for organizing and putting it together. There are MANY others who helped from the cooks, salad makers, dessert makers, and right on down to the "Eaters" that made it such a memorable event. And thank you God for providing such beautiful weather.
FROM THE SENIOR WARDEN:
"The Vestry was sad to accept Ralph Whitman's resignation. However, we certainly understand that he has many obligations and we support his decision. We were happy to hear that he is resigning because of his other commitments not because he was dissatified with anything at church. We love you Ralph, hope to see you soon. This means we have a spot to fill on the Vestry. Because the new person will be finishing out Ralph's term, the Vestry will appoint this member. But we want the congregation 's help in finding someone. If you have someone in mind who would like the opportunity of serving Epiphany and its members, please pass that name to Michael or myself. We will consider all suggestions and then make a decision at the May Vestry meeting. We have a wonderful group of dedicated members and look forward to welcoming our next member."

Word's from Michael's Sermon---
"And so, today as we break bread at our picnic after the Eucharist, we also bring to mind Jesus' showing the deciples that he is present in every moment of our lives, every time we break bread together, whether we bring that to mind or not.
We may recall Jesus' desire to show in that humble meal the heart of our faith--that God is with us in all circumstances, in every situation. This is the continuation of that sacred story of our relationship with God.
May we rejoice in that and be glad and thankful to God who shares himaself with us in all these ways."
Have a Blessed Week,
Carpe every Diem'
