From Michael's Sermon: "We are endlessly inventive and innovative and charitable and endlessly inventive, innovative, and ruthless. Our kindness knows no bounds; neither does our cruelty.
He came to this juncture—his execution—because those in charge couldn’t or wouldn’t see the death of this one man as significant in relation to the benefits to them and those good, decent people who supported them. Jesus understood their frail, human blindness. He prayed for his Father to forgive them.
He must have hoped that his death could change all this. I hope so, too. I hope we can both forgive and advocate for change in this broken world of ours."
Have A Blessed Week and Happy Easter
