Alleluia, Alleluia, Christ has risen. The Lord has risen indeed. We hope you all saw the beautiful flowered cross or at least the picture of it.
First of all, a big thank you to Bill Drake for reopening the Boys and Girls Club for childcare to medical people and first responders, all under the approval of local health authorities. If you have any questions, please contact Bill at 512-557-0769.

A big THANK YOU also goes out to Carrie Guthrie and her grandmother, Nancy Heuss, for the big Easter Basket Project that produced a $1500 donation to the Highland Lakes Crisis Network. Carrie is a senior at BCISD. That is what it's all about. It was front page news in Wednesday's Daily Tribune. It truly is an example of the good our youth are doing for ALL of us. The Daily Trib is a wonderful source of fresh daily local news.
Now for something not so pleasant. The Texas and American Flags are missing from the flagpoles, and our church bell has been heard-probably the work of kids with nothing better to do. Please, when you are out and about and can, go by the church and check to see that everything is in order. If you see anything not right, please contact our stalwart
Senior Warden, Deborah Kelley. If we all keep our eyes open, maybe we can catch things before they get really bad.
Thank you so much for sending in your pledges and other offerings. The mailing address for the church is Box 2, Burnet, Texas 78611.
Now something for fun: There will be a Community Concert, April 17th from 6-9 p.m. at Hampton Inn of the Lake in Marble Falls. It will feature a number of musicians, including Pauline Reese and John Arthur Martinez. It will be broadcast on K-Bey, 103.9 Radio.
Masks are much on our minds these days. If you have questions about how to make them, please contact Margaret Thomas or Ellie Burks. They are not very comfortable, but if they will help stop this CoronaVirus, we are all for them. It surely felt a lot safer yesterday at Walgreens and HEB wearing one.
A Message from Georgie Nolan-"If anyone is interested in getting the Children's Sunday School lessons from Living the Good News, please let me know so we can email them to you on a weekly basis. This could be for either your children or your grandchildren."
Vestry will meet this evening at 5:45, via Zoom.
Happy Birthday
June Hutson-April 21
Stay well, Have a blessed week,
Carpe Every Diem,
Rufus and Sandy
