We hope to have a good turnout for the Easter Vigil at 8:15 on Easter Eve, especially since we will be baptising John Edward Bergmann V at that service. If you can, bring a bell to ring at the first Alleluia of Easter(jingle bell, school bell, bicycle bell--doesn't matter). Remember, we'll begin under the portico by starting the new fire and lighting the paschal candle.
How about the Procession with the Palms? Thank you Michael for making it so meaningful. You can check out the pictures of Palm Sunday and the Picnic on the website.
A Big THANK YOU to Bill Drake, with his chief assistant, Elizabeth, for putting the PICNIC together. Also, thanks to Carol Weathers, who set out all the food, Joe Urias who grilled all the burgers and franks AND cleaned the kitchen, and Georgie Nolan and Nancy Heuss for taking care of the beverages. AND how about Kathryn's Band, AWESOME; a great time was had by ALL. Humnnn, maybe a tradition??? No reason the CHURCH cannot fund it. Again, THANKS.
Continue to keep the Gordys, the Clintons, Rachael and Charlie, the Broads and Tammy Hester in your prayers for healing, comfort, and guidance as well as so many others.
The choir will rehearse Tuesday, the 15th, at 5:30 and on Sat., the 19th, at 3 :00.

Michael reminded us Sunday regarding Jesus, "Hypocrisy was his main focus. And not the way we often think about that term, as when people say Oh, I don't go to church because of the hypocrisy: people who say nice things on Sunday and then are mean and nasty during the week.(We've all heard that argument , of course.) That's not hypocrisy so much as a testimony to our continuing to try to get it right----all of us-learning, forgetting, trying again, and still being imperfect. It's what we ourselves do by managing our dependence on a God of love who is patient with us." Thank you Michael for the reminder.

Have a blessed week and God's peace and love to you,
