Some words from Carol Guthrie, daughter of George and Tek Shoop; we want to thank ALL at Epiphany
for your thoughts, cards, concerns and prayers during George's on going health issues. He is now at Granite
Mesa Rehab in Marble falls. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Please add Melinda Lovelace's sister Sally McBryde in your prayers for long term illness.
OUTREACH: Because of your generous giving Epiphany will donate over 100 pounds of food to L A Care this month,
AND, your donations Sunday for the Rector's Discretionary Fund exceeded what normally would have been budgeted
for a month to help others of the community. Now this is in addition to your donations to the Alzheimer's Respite
Lunch the 2nd Tuesday of each month and your time, treasure, and talents to the Community Kitchen. So,
Thank All of you so much--keep up the good work--God Loves a Cheerful Giver.
FYI--L A Care is doing a Survey with it's clients to see if it would be of benefit to provide sack lunches made by
the school cafeteria this summer to be available at L A Care for the children.. This is another effort to help "Stamp
out Hunger".
VFW Post 6974 in Burnet is coordinating a care package campaign for deployed solders. If you would like to
participate contact Bryan Argenbright at 512-588-6070 post phone or 469-766-1316 cell.
