Fr. Ben Long was our Supply Priest Sunday and will be again this Sunday. His sermon gave us much to think about especially the quote, "It could have been you". He was comparing it to a homeless person, but it could just as easily been someone grieving deeply, someone who has dementia, or any of other difficult situations. Thanks, Ben.
Please-a volunteer is needed to keep the Church Office open on Thursday, October 6. Dianne will be out of the office; and without a volunteer, the office will be closed. Please prayerfully consider if this is something you can do. Note, it will be all day.
Our friends at the Lutheran Church will have their annual Sausage Fest onMonday, October 10. The cost is $10.00 for great food and a chance to visit with friends.
Choir Practices are every Wednesday evening at 5:45 and Sunday at 9:45. If you have ever thought you might like to sing with us, please come and see if it is your cup of tea. It is a great joy.
