Last Sunday was Hat Sunday. We believe it all came about at the rummage sale when some of the ladies decided it would be a fun thing to do. Perhaps it had a deeper meaning as several of us have had Moh"s procedures for skin cancer, and it was a reminder that we all need to be very aware of our skin. At any rate, it was a great idea.
Speaking of the rummage sale, Carol Weathers announced in church Sunday that it made a little over $ 3200.
Many thanks to all that made this possible by sharing your treasurers as well as those that worked so hard with the Sale. A Big Thank You to the Ladies of St. Anne's.
Ladies, mark your calendar for October 13-15. Those are the dates of the 116th Annual ECW retreat at Camp Allen, hosted by The Church of the Resurrection. ECW stands for Episcopal Church Women, Many churches call their women's group that although we call ours St. Anne's Guild in honor of the Virgin Mary's Mother, St. Anne. If you would like more information about the workshops to be held and the cost, go to www.epicenter.org/ecw=annual-retreat or contact Carol Weathers.
