Just talked to Georgie, and she said that the Fall Festival was a tremendous success and that a good time was had by all. One more time, a big thank you to everyone who helped in anyway.
News Flash-Bishop Dena Harrison will be with us Sunday, November 19 at the 10:30 service. So, our Thanksgiving Covered Dish will be moved to that Sunday instead of the second Sunday. St. Anne's Guild will provide the turkey and ham, and we are asked to bring sides. We hope you can come celebrate our Epiphany Family Thanksgiving and visit with Bishop Harrison.
This Sunday, October 29 will be the Ingathering of the United Thank Offering. This is a time when we can give a special offering in Thanksgiving for our many blessings.
You probably noticed that the choir sounded better than usual last Sunday Diane Langely and her lovely voice have joined us. This is a good time to mention that if you like to sing and have thought maybe you would like to be in the choir, we would love to have you.
A Word about Breakfast with Michael-it will be Thursday, November 30 from 9-10 A.M. PLEASE let Rufus or Sandy or Dianne Ragland know if you can come as soon as possible. Otherwise, there may not be enough food.
