Michael mentioned Saltine Sunday last Sunday. I thought you would like to know that we have done this
for 4 Sundays now; and to date, together we have given $363.41 to buy 188 boxes of crackers-just another
example of the love and generosity of the family of Epiphany to L A Care.
Another example is St. Anne's taking on the project of helping with Elves for the Elderly. They will be meeting Wednesday morning in the Parish Hall to work on the project. They will have several sewing machines ---the plan
is to make lap blankets.
Another is the Thanksgiving Day Dinner headed up by Nancy Heuss. This is a huge undertaking. Please call
Nancy at 512-756-6768 or 512-755-4341 if you can help in any way-cooking,serving, or cleaning up. MUCH
HELP IS NEEDED.

Michael's sermons lately have been about us being called to love and to try not to be so judgmental. It brought
back a quote from Edgar Guest (at least I think it was him). He said, "There is so much good in the worst of
us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it behooves none of us to talk about the rest of us".-just
something to think about.
Have a blessed week,
