Please keep Diane Langley and her family in your prayers as they deal with the death of Tom. " His committal service is set for 1 P. M. on the 11th at Trinity by the Sea in Port Aransas. Just for your info. Not expecting anyone to make the trip. Thanks again. Diane and Family".
More than anything, we want the E-Star to keep the whole congregation aware of things happening at Epiphany. You probably have noticed the poor condition of the main church doors and wondering why something hasn't been done. As with many things, it is not that simple. The problem with the doors has been caused by the leak in the roof which was made worse by the spring rains. The leak and the belfry tower have to be repaired before new doors can be installed. There is a claim pending with the insurance company. We will let you know more as we learn more.
This coming Sunday, the 10th, will be Pot Luck Birthday celebration. Come and enjoy. Hostess's are Karen Leitch and Mary Stevens.
For the July 12th Respite Lunch, Mae Wright will do the main dish, Sandy Arrington is doing bread and salad, and Phyllis McNelly is doing dessert. Thank you ladies.
****We would be Remiss if we did not Say A Special Thank You to Tim Erskine for taking care of the music this Sunday. We know it is not easy with your work schedule, but you are a True and Faithful Servant. Thank You so much.
Sunday attendance was 26 and collection was $3264.
Sunday, Eucharistic Minister will be Mary Erskine, Lector, John Erskine, and Ushers are Joe and Dolores Urias. VP of the Day is Joe Urias.
From Michael----"Well, it struck me at least as paradoxical . The key might be something along these lines. Since all our names are written in heaven, we should bear one another's burden by appreciating and affirming their gifts. And we carry our own load by doing what we do well, using the particular gifts God has given each of us. By being the loving person God created each of us to be."
Remember we are in an Extreme Heat Advisory----Be Extremely Aware of Plants, Pets, and People. Do Not Forget Plenty of Water----Do Not forget you Hat or Cap and sunglasses-------------
Have a Blessed Week,
Carpe every Diem..
