The Vestry has a retreat scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd , 9:00 a.m. at the Hill Country Foundation Building. Please keep them in your prayers as they plan 2016 for Epiphany.
Steve Stevens is home from the hospital, just a little sore and tired from his knee surgery. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Lue Mather is home hanging in there--cards would be appreciated. Your prayers mean so much to her and John.
The Needle Work Guild will meet the first Wednesday in February in the Youth Center.
The L A Care appreciation dinner is February 2nd at the First Christian Church at 6:30. If you plan to attend please RSVP by January 27th.
The Daughters of the King will meet the Last Sunday after church in the Youth Center.
Men's breakfast will resume Saturday, January 30th at 8:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Food provided by??????, soon to be announced. We will have food and fellowship.................
Choir practice is Wednesday at 5:45 and Sunday morning at 9:30. We could use a few extra voices. By now,all know they are not professionals. They just enjoy making a joyful noise for and to the Lord.

We close with reference to Jesus talking about loving your neighbor as yourself.......and Michael said, " In other words not by nit-picking at the law, nor by military might, but by loving God and putting yourself in your neighbor's shoes. (Maybe it's more like putting your neighbor in your shoes). If anything in this world it's about relationship, it's marriage. And we know that Jesus' ministry and his example and his message are all about relationship--with God, our neighbor, and within ourselves". Thank you Michael.
